What is your cleaning process?
Our general cleaning is based on a proven, non-toxic, odor-free, soap-free, environmentally safe, biodegradable cleaning agent,a welcome change for anyone concerned about chemicals and strong odors. Carpet cleaners have known for years how cleaning residues can actually lead to rapid resoiling. That’s why we rely on soap-free chemistry, breaking the dependence on harsh detergents, making it impossible to leave sticky, soapy dirt-attracting residues. It’s safe for you, safe for pets and safe for your carpet.

What does Green mean?
Rather than heavily processed man-made chemicals we looked to Mother-Nature for a safe and environmentally-responsible answer. Made from oxygen and oranges, our cleaner is inherently safe for both your family and ours.
What should we do before you arrive?
Thoroughly vacuum all areas with a new bag and make sure to detail along the edges where dust collects. We know a lot of folks are busy so we gladly provide the service for an additional $10.00 per room. An room is any area of 300 square feet or less, combo rooms count as two. Also remove any furniture you would like us to clean under, otherwise we will clean all open areas. Please secure your pets in a safe area out of harm’s way. We love them but cannot be responsible for them.
How long to dry?
We precisely control the amount of moisture used during cleaning. While it’s not unusual to hear of instances where water was used in volumes sufficient to saturate the carpet, carpet backing, and in some cases into the padding, it’s nearly impossible to reach those extremes with Controlled-Moisture cleaning. Some processes spray hot, pressurized water into the carpet at a rate of three or more gallons per minute. In contrast, our Controlled-Moisture process typically uses only three to four gallons to clean an average home guaranteeing quick and convenient, trouble-free drying, usually in about 1 hour.
Will the spots come back?
You know what they say, “Never say never,” so while we’re confident in saying it’s rare, it’s not impossible. If spots do return, so will we. Just give us a call and we’ll treat the spot again.
Will my carpet look like new?
We’ll do our best to make it look like new, unfortunately, normal wear and tear causes gradual damage cleaning can’t resolve. Please let us know of any concerns. Again, we’ll do our best to help you know what to expect from a good, thorough cleaning before we start.
Can pet odor be removed?
Long-term, repeated contamination intrudes into the backing, padding, even into the sub floor and tack strip, well beyond the reach normal cleaning. Under those circumstances we may need to schedule a separate evaluation to judge the extent of damage and reasonable remediation and costs. An average urine job typically requires one to two gallons of specialized urine treatments at $25 per gallon.
When can we walk on the clean carpet?
It takes about an hour to clean 3 to 4 rooms. While we recommend letting it dry a couple of hours before putting it back into use, you can walk on it immediately with clean socks or shoes. Avoid dirty shoes as the dirt will wipe off your freshly cleaned carpet. Always exercise CAUTION when walking from damp carpet onto adjoining hard surfaces as your shoes will be slippery. Please watch your step!
